| KILIMANJARO CLIMB - THE SHIRA ROUTE |

Enjoyable scenic but another difficult route. It should be in mind that all the route have different view of Kilimanjaro and make it one of unique mountain with several views. Its possible to make it within 7 days but the Safari Tanzania recommended 8 days one for acclamatization. |

| Day 1: | Transferred from your hotel in Moshi to the Londorossi gate. After registration starts trekking for (4 - 5 hours) picnic lunch on the way. Camping for dinner and overnight. |

Day 2: |
After breakfast start climbing towards the Wilderness Camp for dinner and overnight (4 - 5 hours). Picnic lunch on the way. |
| Day 3: | Early in the Morning after breakfast trek along the circuit of Shira plateau for camping at Shira camp (3840 m). |
| Day 4: | From Shira trek through Barranco (3950 m) for a late lunch and on to Karanga Valley. Dinner and overnight at Barafu Camp (4600 m). (10 - 11 hrs). |
| Day 5: | After breakfast trek across the saddle to Kibo campsite (4725 m) about (3 - 4 hrs) picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight. |
| Day 6: | This is the day to the Roof of Africa (top) the Uhuru Peak and down to Mweka campsite (8 - 9 hrs). Dinner and overnight. |
| Day 7: | From the campsite down to the Mweka gate (3 - 4 hrs). Found the driver waiting for you take you back to the hotel. |
